To begin fulfilling my promise to my late husband, Robert, I served an outreach to Kathmandu, Nepal in October 2014. I am also glad to announce because of many blessings received my great niece, Alexandra, is joined me on this ourtreach. Here are the details from Joyce Meyer Ministries. I would like to thank you for all your prayers for this ministry outreach.
We were excited about our first ever medical and dental outreach to Nepal, October 23- November 2, 2014. Located in South Asia, this country is situated in the Himalayas and bordered by India and China. We will be working with one of our ministry partners, EL- BETHEL Evangelical Church, who has a great passion to reach the poorest of the poor in Nepal. The people of Nepal are in great need of quality medical/dental care and we are excited about the opportunity to serve them.
During this outreach we helped many of the sick and hurting who would otherwise go without the treatment they need. We set up a general medical/dental clinic and treated patients’ needs as they presented. We also prayed with all of our patients’ and gave them an opportunity to receive Christ. The team stayed in a hotel based in the capitol city of Kathmandu, Nepal.
The schedule* for this outreach was:
Thursday, October 23 – Depart home city, meet team in New York or Los Angeles and fly to Nepal together as a team (This is a US departure date, other countries may vary) Saturday, October 25 – Arrive Kathmandu, Nepal Sunday, October 26 – Church in the morning, team orientation, pack medication Monday, October 27 – Medical/Dental Clinic Tuesday, October 28 – Medical/Dental Clinic Wednesday, October 29 – Medical/Dental Clinic Thursday, October 30 – Medical/Dental Clinic Friday, October 31- Medical/Dental Clinic Saturday, November 1 – Free time/Shopping, depart for home Sunday, November 2 – Arrive home city
